Midcoast Maine Community Action (MMCA), a human services agency, is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy in the Early Head Start program. Working out of the Bath Head Start office, this person will provide home-based early learning and child development services to pregnant women, children birth to age three, and their parents in the Bath area. The Home Visitor makes weekly home visits with assigned families to deliver developmentally appropriate learning activities, and education about child health, nutrition, and child development. The EHS Home Visitor will also assist families with identifying and accessing appropriate community resources and supports. Other responsibilities include working with other team members to plan family socialization experiences and create family development plans that support parents in achieving family goals and successfully raising their children.

The position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week. MMCA offers its employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and life/disability insurance; paid vacation and sick time; paid holidays; and a 403(b) retirement plan. Salary range is $12.83 to $20.07 per hour; pay will be dependent upon qualifications.
