Qualifications include Baccalaureate Degree with a major in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.  Relevant work experience may be substituted for four-year degree.  At least 2 years’ experience in an accounting or equivalent position.  Experience in fund accounting and working with state and/or federal funding sources in a non-profit organization preferred.  Demonstrated ability to work with computers required.  Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, schedule and manage complex multiple tasks required.  High degree of organizational skill and accuracy required.  Excellent oral/written communication skills required.

Responsibilities include generating timely/accurate financial statements and reports to meet agency deadlines; prepares schedules for agency-wide budget and audit process; assists  in preparation of program budgets; data entry of invoices, purchase orders, and weekly receipts; prepares weekly payment of all invoices in a timely/efficient manner; records cash disbursements; maintains AP filing system; prepares/supervises preparation and posting of journal entries; maintains equipment and supplies inventory.

Salary range $32370.00 – $39000.00.
